Overview

This white paper offers adaptive frameworks for managing new building starts on PEI. The paper reviews North American trends in implementing minimum new building energy codes, identifying strategies that encourage new buildings to be constructed beyond minimum energy codes.

Recommendations are intended to be progressive and achievable in order to proactively address energy use in new buildings on PEI.
