Overview
This white paper
offers adaptive frameworks for managing new building starts on PEI. The paper
reviews North American trends in implementing minimum new building energy
codes, identifying strategies that encourage new buildings to be
constructed beyond minimum energy codes.
Recommendations
are intended to be progressive and achievable in order to proactively
address energy use in new buildings on PEI.
